Screening of Tuberous Sclerosis-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders in Korea Using the TAND Checklist

Purpose The present study aimed to elucidate the clinical characteristics of children with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) in Korea using Tuberous Sclerosis-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders (TAND) checklist evaluate comorbidities neurocognitive and socioemotional problems Korean setting. Methods A survey based on TAND was administered 58 TSC receiving treatment an outpatient basis. Their medical records test results were retrospectively examined. Results At time administration, 35 (64.8%) participants had focal epilepsy, three (5.6%) generalized six (11.1%) infantile spasms, seven (13.0%) Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. most frequently reported behavioral problem difficulty getting other people similar age (38/58, 65.5%).
